Nicholas Kaplan is a founder and Chief Operating Officer of Fashion To Figure. He makes sure that our stores operate smoothly and that the FTF Fashion Stylists have everything they need to help you. You might find him organizing the displays at the stores or maybe helping you to order that must-have item from another one of our locations. Chances are you'll find Nick on the store floor so be sure to say hi! Before FTF, Nick co-founded and was Managing Partner of The Designer Warehouse, an off-price retailer of apparel for men and women operating several stores in New York City and New Jersey. Previously, Nick was General Merchandise Manager at Bluefly.com and a Merchandise Buyer at Saks Incorporated. Nick started his retail career more than 17 years ago as a sales associate at a Tommy Hilfiger store in Manhattan. He earned his BA at Lehigh University.
Frances Freixas is Chief Merchant at Fashion To Figure, responsible for merchandise strategy and store operations. Frances is the person to thank for all of the fashion that we offer in our stores. She travels across the country to find the styles that you want most. When you see her at the stores, tell her if there is something you wish you could buy at FTF. She'll look out for it on her next buying trip! Frances was previously a women's designer sportswear buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue, where, for fifteen years she held a variety of both store operations and corporate management positions. Frances attended Florida International University.
Michael Kaplan is a founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fashion To Figure. He makes sure that the company runs well but he also spends a lot of time at our stores making sure that you are having the best possible experience. Next time you visit us, don't be surprised if the person helping you with your bags is actually our Chief Executive! Mike previously founded an online community and shopping portal for full-figured women purchased by Charming Shoppes in 2000. Prior to that, he was a Venture Capitalist with RRE Ventures and a financial analyst with Lazard in New York. He studied jazz saxophone at The Manhattan School of Music, is a graduate of Brown University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

The FTF Fashion Stylists really make the difference in your shopping experience - we know because you tell us all the time! These ladies know our fashions inside and out and will help put together outfits, tell you how things wash, what not to wear, if it looks good (or more importantly, if it looks bad), how to size all of our different brands, and much more. Need a cold drink? With your kids and need to get them a book so you can shop? Is your husband along for your visit?
