Michael Kaplan is Co-Founder and CEO of Fashion To Figure.
He previously co-founded an online community and shopping portal for full-figured women purchased by Charming Shoppes in 2000. Prior to that, Michael was a Venture Capitalist with RRE Ventures and a Financial Analyst with Lazard in New York. He studied jazz, saxophone at The Manhattan School of Music, is a graduate of Brown University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kaplan was named one of Chain Store Age's "40 under 40" Rising Retail Stars in 2006 and has been a featured guest speaker at The Fashion Institute of Technology and The Laboratory Institute of Merchandising.
Nicholas Kaplan is Co-Founder and COO of Fashion To Figure.
He previously co-founded and served as Managing Partner of The Designer Warehouse, an off-price retailer of apparel for men and women operating several stores in New York City and New Jersey. Previously, Nick was General Merchandise Manager at Bluefly.com and a Merchandise Buyer at Saks Incorporated. Nick started his retail career more than 17 years ago when, as a high-school student, he was a sales associate at a Tommy Hilfiger store in Manhattan. He earned his BA at Lehigh University. Kaplan was named one of Chain Store Age's "40 under 40" Rising Retail Stars in 2006 and has been a guest speaker at The Fashion Institute of Technology.
Frances Freixas is Chief Merchant at Fashion To Figure responsible for merchandise strategy and store operations. She previously was a women's designer sportswear buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue, where, for fifteen years she held a variety of both store operations and corporate management positions. Frances attended Florida International University.
Peter Cureton is Chief Financial Officer of Fashion To Figure. He was previously a private equity investor at Irving Place Capital, where he helped invest in and work with various retail companies including The Vitamin Shoppe, Seven For All Mankind and 4 Wheel Parts. He received an AB in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to business school Pete held positions at Wellspring Capital, Bear Stearns Merchant Banking and Bear Stearns investment bank.
Charlotte Paulson is Senior Assistant to CEO and handles business development at FTF. Previously Charlotte was Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Charles Nolan Apparel. Charlotte has also worked the retail floor at Charles Nolan and Anthropologie. She was a candidate for a Fulbright Scholarship in 2009 and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of New York University.
Palley Jackson is Assistant Merchant at FTF. Previously she completed the Nordstrom Executive Training Program where she was a department manager and also worked at the Bumble and Bumble division of Estee Lauder. Palley is a graduate of Villanova University where she was a member of the University’s Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team.
Jennifer Schmitt is Ecommerce Director at FTF. Previously she was Ecommerce Manager at SBRshop.com, a multi-channel retailer of sporting equipment and related merchandise for tri-athletes. Prior to that position, Jennifer was Project Manager and Web Developer for 1-800-SAN-DIEGO and Systems and Application Programmer and Software Engineer for Florida Atlantic University. She has a Master of Science degree from New York University and graduated Magna cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University.
